Introduction

If, after reading the previous posts, you are now thinking seriously about taking Step 1, we’ve created a brief guide to some resources. We discuss the best books, videos, question banks and learning methods to help you ace Step 1 of the USMLE. A quick set of disclaimers before we start:

1.     This list is by no means extensive but covers the more common things that people use.

2.     Different resources work for different people, so take some time/get some free trials to see what you like using.

3.     Using too many resources will make your learning unfocused, and will also leave a pretty serious dent in your bank account (remember this is on top of the $1000+ you pay to just sit the exam); pick a limited set of resources that work for you and stick with them!
